Skills for Sustainability

High priority on ForestWorks ISC's Continuous Improvement Plan

An analysis of sustainability skills within the FPI and FPP Training Packages is a high priority on ForestWorks ISC's Continuous Improvement Plan, in line with Federal Government policy on the issue.

Work will be completed in two stages-scoping of the Training Packages has been completed and a report was submitted to DEEWR on 7th April,2010 which contained recommendations for changes to the Training Packages to address identified gaps. It is anticipated that changes to the FPI Training Package will be submitted for NQC endorsement by 31 Dec 2010 and changes to the FPP Training Package will be addressed in conjunction with the final stages of the review of the package. FPP10 is expected to be endorsed by October 2010.

ForestWorks welcomes feedback or enquiries regarding the proposal, please contact
