Regional Workshop

While the National Workshop is an important event on the FIAPS calendar, ForestWorks recognises that it is predominately training managers and TAFE heads of department who seem to be able to attend.

However, we believe it is equally important for our assessors out in the field to also have the opportunity to benefit from professional development and moderation activities.

Therefore, ForestWorks is implementing a series of regional workshops in all states, so that we can reach out to all industry assessors.

This will enable everyone to have the opportunity to discuss their experiences and give their input into improving the FIAPS materials.

Logistically it also makes sense if we can tag these meetings on to activities that have already been planned, such as a TAFE network or an RTO moderation day. If you know of any meetings planned for trainers and assessors in the Forest and Forest Products Industry and would like Faye to attend, then please contact Faye to arrange a presentation and / or professional development activity based on the FIAPS tools fmilroy@forestworks.com.au.

Please contact Faye Milroy fmilroy@forestworks.com.au for information on any future conferencesor workshops.
