ForestWorks has branches in Victoria, Queensland, NSW and Tasmania.
ForestWorks co-ordinates forest, wood, paper and timber product Industry Training Advisory Boards (ITABs) in each state largely through supporting, chairing and administering the network. In Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland and New South Wales, ForestWorks has contract obligations for the state ITAB.
About ForestWorks NSW Branch The ForestWorks NSW Forestry ITAB is funded by the NSW
Government Department of Education and Training (DET
NSW) to provide a range of information and advice to the
government and advice to the forest, wood, paper and timber
products industry and the light manufacturing industry with
regard to training and skill development.
About ForestWorks QLD Branch Forestworks Queensland branch is the official entity recognised and funded by the Queensland State Government to perform the functions previously undertaken by the Queensland Food and Forest ITAB.
About ForestWorks Tasmania Branch ForestWorks Tasmania oversees the operation of the Tasmanian forest industry operator licence system, administers an industry database, supports registered assessors and manages forest industry standards and accreditation committees.
