National Workforce Development Fund

Train your staff in a range of qualifications, from Certificate II to Vocational Graduate Diploma and help to develop your workforce now and into the future.

.

...

Opportunities are now available for subsidised training places through the new National Workplace Development Fund.

This initiative is part of the Commonwealth Government's commitment to building Australia's future workforce. It has been specifically designed to support training and workforce development in areas of current and future skills need. Large enterprises will receive 34 percent of the cost of training, medium enterprises 50 per cent and small enterprises 67 per cent.

The program has already helped many businesses lift their workforce capacity -
read a case study about Binder’s Building Supplies or Greensill Bros. The program has also assisted Australian workers with the opportunity to increase their skills through formal training - read a case study about employee Reggie Roach, from Northside Trusses and Frames.

ForestWorks ISC is committed to helping your organisation engage with training and workforce development and can assist with guiding you through the process.

ForestWorks ISC can provide:

  • advice on how you can take advantage of subsidised training places, including eligibility
  • assistance in developing an application that is compliant with the program guidelines
  • assist with compiling materials to support your application
  • assistance with identifying a suitable RTO if required

If you would like to participate in this initiative please contact ForestWorks and we will assist you to complete the application process.
