Appita Chip Preparation & Quality Seminar

Registration is now open for the Chip Preparation & Quality Seminar which is being held in conjunction with the 2017 Appita Fibre Value Chain Conference at the Melbourne Convention & Events Centre.
Chip preparation technology continues to advance quickly. The focus has shifted from primarily wood supply to a forest-to-product view of chip quality and productivity. The object of this seminar is to provide state-of-the-art technology and information that is not readily available in technical publications. It is a hands-on course with an acknowledged industry expert from the USA, Desmond Smith (Dr. Chips), BRUKS, USA.
The seminar is designed for:
- Makers and users of chips who want a greater understanding of how chip quality affects their manufacturing processes.
- Pulp mill and panel board mill operating and technical personnel who want to update their knowledge.
- Chip exporters.
- Saw millers, particularly those supplying chips to pulp mills.
