The Forum identified areas for collective action and the mechanisms for strengthening co-operation between key industry and government stakeholders.

John Mansfield, a Kilns Co-ordinator from Hyne & Son in Tumbarumba, NSW was recently nominated by ForestWorks to attend the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) 2009 Student Forum in Adelaide. Participants established a range of outcomes on overcoming barriers and improving on-the-job training and these findings will go to the Deputy Prime Minster, the Hon. Julia Gillard (MP).
